Straight Talk's HotSpot Only Works For 13 Hours......
Let me speak about Straight Talk's HotSpot service plans:
1. All plans display you will receive the amount of data for a
certain number of days.
2. Therefore, I purchased the 5GB Data Plan for $50.00.
3. After 2 and a half days of usage, got the displayed message on my
laptop screen that the Internet service could not be accessed and that I may
need to purchase another service plan to continue access.
4. Called Straight Talk customer service and was told that I had only 1GB of data left on the current purchased plan. Further explanation: I should have understood that the 5GB of data is not unlimited and was only good for within 60 days, not 60 days of 5GB.
5. Nowhere on the purchased pin card or the website explains that the HotSpot unit itself is only good for 13 hours of Internet access even with the purchase of a service plan for more data.
6. Another prime example of buyer beware and how our government has allowed our consumer rights to be suppressed.
